Women Belong Anywhere and Everywhere Decisions are Made.
Coming Together To Support Women In Civic Life
Women’s Work Utah is a multi-partisan organization dedicated to involvement and empowerment of Utah’s women in civic life. We work to have all voices represented in our government, which is when it works best.
Our Focus
We’re focused on bringing women into important conversations that affect our lives. Businesses, schools, churches, state legislatures, city councils, and ultimately, society at large do better when women are included. Inviting women to the table helps meet Utah’s current and future needs—and keeps our economy thriving for everyone.
Three Aspects of Politics That Need Your Attention
CAUCUS NIGHT
MARCH 17, 2026
ONE NIGHT. TWO HOURS.
Caucus night is when delegates are chosen. These delegates decide who gets on the Utah ballots (long before the general election). Caucus is arguably the most important election next year—pick a party and show up. Even better: run as a delegate yourself.
CIVIC ENGAGEMENT TOURS
Get to know the people on your ballot, in person. Our civic engagement tours give you the opportunity to ask meaningful questions and get meaningful answers. Elected positions are important jobs: If you had to interview any other kind of job applicant, what would you want to know about them? Delegates get this kind of contact with candidates, and other voters deserve the same opportunities.
ELECTORAL REFORM
Systems determine outcomes. Why do we have primary elections, caucuses, and conventions? Have you ever wondered why political parties exist, or why they hold such large roles in official, public-funded elections? Women’s Work Utah is researching the variety of methods for selecting candidates in states across the US. Check back here later in 2026 for analysis about how electoral systems still have room to evolve.
